Peer Support Supervisor

Job Overview

New Phoenix, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Supervisor to lead and support our Peer Support Specialists. This role ensures that peerdelivered services reflect recovery principles, uphold state standards, and contribute to a supportive, personcentered environment. The Peer Support Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director or Program Manager to strengthen peer services, promote recoveryoriented practices, and support staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support Peer Support Specialists

• Review peer documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with state standards

• Facilitate group supervision, team meetings, and peer development activities

• Coordinate training, continuing education, and skillbuilding opportunities

• Advocate for recoveryoriented, personcentered services in program planning and development

• Promote a culture of empowerment, respect, and livedexperience leadership

Qualifications

• NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) required

• Supervisory or leadership experience in peerbased or recoveryoriented services

• Lived experience in recovery with a strong understanding of peer support values and principles

• Skilled in documentation, coaching, and supporting recoverybased work

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities

• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and traumainformed care
