The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive outpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents, working collaboratively within ELFHCC's integrated care model that includes behavioral health, dental, nursing, and community health programs. This position emphasizes relationship‑based care, prevention, early intervention, and continuity for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine well‑child exams, acute pediatric visits, and chronic disease management
  • Deliver evidence‑based preventive screenings, immunizations, and developmental assessments
  • Partner with parents and caregivers to promote healthy physical, emotional, and developmental outcomes
  • Collaborate with behavioral health clinicians, care managers, and community health workers to support whole‑family needs
  • Participate in care team huddles, quality initiatives, and practice improvement activities
  • Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
  • Support ELFHCC's mission by providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to all patients, regardless of ability to pay

Qualifications

Required:

  • MD or DO with active Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility)
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatrics
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong commitment to underserved communities and community health
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in an FQHC, community health, or safety‑net clinical setting
  • Experience with integrated behavioral health or trauma‑informed care
  • Interest in teaching, quality improvement, or community outreach
  • Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a plus
