Pediatric RN – Nights (Part-Time)

The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, Montana to hire a Pediatric RN – Nights. This part-time role provides an opportunity to care for neonatal, pediatric, and postpartum patients while working a night shift schedule with weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver family-centered, holistic nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
  

• Provide care for neonatal, pediatric, and postpartum (couplet) patients; circulate for cesarean deliveries as required.
  

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
  

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
  

• Support patient and family education, comfort, and advocacy.
  

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
  

• Current Montana RN license and BLS certification.
  

• Pediatric Track: NRP, STABLE, and PALS certifications required within 12 months of hire.
  

• OB Track (if applicable): NRP, ACLS, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certifications within 12 months.
  

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
  

Preferred:

• Additional certifications in pediatric care, lactation, or inpatient OB experience.
  

• Experience in pediatric, neonatal, or postpartum nursing.
  

Schedule & FTE: Nights, part-time with weekend and holiday coverage required.
