About the Role
As a Pediatric Dentist you will provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental care while fostering a welcoming and positive environment to ensure children feel safe and comfortable during visits. You'll use behavior management techniques tailored to young patients, educate families on oral hygiene practices, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about setting children on a path to lifelong oral health.
What We're Looking For:
- Active CA State license
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program (2-3 years) accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).
- Pediatric life support certification (PALS).
- Availability to work 3-4 days per week, including SAT (1-2/per month)
Skills
- Strong understanding of pediatric treatment planning and case management.
- Proficiency in pediatric dental procedures, such as pulpotomies, white crowns, & space maintainers.
- Strong behavioral management skills, with the ability to create a comfortable environment for young patients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and parents.
- Ability to work well in a team and provide coaching and support to other staff members when needed.
