The PCTS (Platform, Cloud, and Technical Security) Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud and platform solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring that cloud infrastructure and platform services are aligned with the firm’s security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud and platform architectures.- Develop and enforce security policies and controls for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for new and existing services.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to cloud and platform services.
- Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security posture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, platform engineering, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with container security, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
