Payroll Specialist

A well‑established construction company is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage full‑cycle, in‑house payroll within a fast‑paced, union environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable handling complex payroll for a large workforce.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Process weekly payroll for a high‑volume construction workforce
• Manage union payroll and assist with strict union benefit reporting requirements
• Perform manual payroll tasks, including the ability to manually cut checks when needed
• Handle garnishments, deductions, new hires, and terminations
• Support job‑based payroll across 150–200 active job numbers
• Work closely with field leadership, foremen, and the payroll team

• Construction Payroll Specialist experience
• Union payroll experience
• Strong manual, in‑house full‑cycle payroll background
• Ability to manually cut checks
