Payroll Manager

- Partner with HR on employee lifecycle changes and related data updates
- Reconcile timekeeping data to payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform and maintain payroll-to-general ledger (GL) reconciliations
- Support payroll tax compliance activities, including testing of tax updates and enhancements
- Monitor and track payroll tax filings and registrations handled by a third-party provider to ensure deadlines and requirements are met
- Serve as a point of oversight and coordination with the external payroll processing vendor
- Support payroll operations in a mid-size, multi-employee environment
Requirements:
- Experience supporting payroll operations, reconciliations, and compliance in a complex environment
- Working knowledge of timekeeping, payroll, and GL integration processes
- Experience partnering with HR and external payroll vendors
- Familiarity with payroll tax processes and compliance requirements
- ERP experience preferred (SAP or comparable enterprise systems)
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple payroll-related data streams and controls
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
