Payroll Clerk

We’re partnering with a well-established industrial services company in Sugar Land, Texas for a Payroll Clerk that continues to grow and evolve across its global operations.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they are adding a Payroll Clerk to support their payroll team and help ensure accurate and timely processing for a large employee base.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys payroll processing and detail-oriented work.

What You’ll Do As a Payroll Clerk:

• Process, review and verify timesheets for accuracy and completeness
• Manage all incoming request from payroll helpdesk inbox
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensue data integrity
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding payroll changes
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and time reporting
• Support payroll audits and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Assist with payroll projects and reporting as needed by payroll team

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems (ADP or similar preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• A team player with a proactive and dependable work style
