This is a high‑impact Payroll & Benefits role overseeing U.S. and international payroll for a top‑tier financial services firm using Workday. You'll own complex payroll operations (vesting and bonuses), and serve as the firm's subject‑matter expert for all payroll and benefits processes. Up to $200K+ bonus. Experience processing payroll in Workday is required.

This is a repeat client of ours within the financial services space. They operate globally and have a phenomenal, people‑first culture, and strong cross‑functional partnership between functions. This role will be 4 days onsite in Manhattan and up to $200K + bonus.

Description

  • Own end‑to‑end Workday payroll administration
  • Manage US and Global (in collaboration with vendors abroad) payroll.
  • Process exempt & non‑exempt payroll, including overtime
  • Lead bonus payroll and year‑end processes
  • Handle unvested compensation, sign‑on payments, and other complex pay elements
  • Support payroll tax activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
  • Oversee qualifying life events and employee benefits changes in Workday
  • Lead Open Enrollment, handle invoicing, and broker communications

Profile

  • 10+ years of payroll and benefits experience
  • Minimum 3 years hands‑on Workday payroll experience required
  • Proven background managing complex payroll (bonuses, exempt/non‑exempt, vested/unvested comp)
  • Understanding of payroll tax, compliance, audits, and reporting
  • High accuracy, strong analytical skills, and ability to navigate sensitive employee inquiries
  • Financial services experience highly preferred
