Location: 100% On-Site | Orlando, FL 32819

Pay: $17/hr

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:00a-5:00p

Role Overview

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be dedicated to supporting our California-based associates. In this role, you will be the "detective" of their payroll department-identifying discrepancies, resolving timekeeping errors, and ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time. This is a critical role that requires a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to excellent internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit & Resolve: Proactively research and resolve timecard discrepancies specifically for the California workforce, ensuring adherence to state-specific labor guidelines.

  • Error Correction: Identify and fix timekeeping issues such as missed punches, meal break violations, or overages.

  • Collaborate: Partner closely with Site Leaders and HR Business Partners to gather missing data and verify information needed for payroll processing.

  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of data integrity within their time and attendance systems to prevent future payroll leakage.

  • Support: Provide timely and professional communication to associates regarding their pay inquiries, delivering a "customer-first" experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: 6+ months of payroll or data entry experience is preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong administrative background).

  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word).

    • Familiarity with systems like Kronos or Workforce Management (WFM) is a major plus.

  • Soft Skills: * Deadlines: You thrive under pressure and never miss a "cutoff" date.

    • Precision: You have an eagle eye for spotting errors in large data sets.

    • Communication: Ability to explain complex payroll issues clearly and kindly to others.
