Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Payroll Administrator to join our Accounting + Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and administration. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have a passion for numbers, an eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Payroll Administrator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing the entire payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
2. Utilizing ADP software for payroll processing, maintaining accurate records, and generating relevant reports.
3. Collaborating with the HR department to ensure all payroll-related changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) are implemented correctly.
4. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of various payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant at all times.
5. Conducting regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
6. Assisting with the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
7. Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
8. Providing support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Consulting Payroll Administrator position, you must possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll software.
3. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, including tax regulations, wage laws, and benefits administration.
4. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A high level of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate problems and implement effective solutions.
