Payroll Administrator

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time)
Location: Commerce, CA

Compensation: $25.00 per hour + annual incentive!

What You’ll Do

Payroll Processing & Accuracy

  • Process and transmit weekly payroll with precision and timeliness

  • Audit payroll data including hours, earnings, deductions, and taxes

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before and after payroll runs

  • Manage payroll corrections, adjustments, and final pay processing

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and analyze weekly payroll reports

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state payroll regulations

  • Administer wage garnishments and support orders

  • Support tax administration and maintain accurate payroll records

Employee Support & Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related questions

  • Partner with managers and employees to resolve payroll issues quickly

  • Assist with employee status changes and payroll updates

  • Coordinate payroll check processing and distribution


What You Bring

  • Experience processing payroll with a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools

  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (or ability to learn quickly)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support a diverse workforce

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
