Description:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to support end‑to‑end payroll operations for a mid‑to‑large, multi‑state workforce. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee payroll data, ensuring timely and compliant payroll processing, and providing excellent support to employees and managers. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Workforce Manager, strong Excel skills, and a customer‑focused mindset.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Process new hire onboarding, employee changes, and payroll updates in SAP SuccessFactors and ADP Workforce Now
- Monitor and audit timekeeping data in ADP Workforce Manager, including missing punches, PTO usage, pay codes, and approvals
- Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure timely timecard approvals
- Deliver training to managers and supervisors on ADP Workforce Manager; support hourly employees with time clock usage
- Process payroll adjustments including on‑call pay, bonuses, allowances, reimbursements, manual checks, and other special payments
- Run weekly payroll imports, validate hours, and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll processing
- Manage multi‑state payroll check distribution and off‑cycle payments
- Generate General Ledger reports from ADP and prepare reconciled Excel files
- Handle wage verifications, stop payments, direct deposit reversals, and voided checks
- Support employee inquiries related to pay, tax forms, direct deposits, and personal data changes
- Maintain petty cash documentation and supporting records
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Operations, Management, or related field, or equivalent professional certification
- 3–5 years of payroll processing experience in a mid‑to‑large organization; multi‑state experience preferred
- Hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Workforce Manager
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
