Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: $28 - $30/hour

Schedule

• Shift: Evening/Night (4:00 PM – 12:15 AM)
• Hours: 5x8-hour shifts per week
• Weekends: Rotating

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support a fast-paced hospital recovery room unit. This role involves assisting nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficient unit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Assist nursing staff with procedures and recovery room support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic systems
• Support patient transport and overall unit workflow

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nursing Attendant or similar role
• Completion of a Patient Care Associate/Technician training program
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital or recovery room setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
