Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Care Coordinator / Patient Support Representative to assist patients throughout their healthcare journey. This is a great opportunity for candidates with customer service, call center, or healthcare support experience looking to grow in a remote healthcare role.
The ideal candidate has experience with patient communication, insurance verification, pharmacy operations, and CRM systems , and is comfortable handling high-volume calls while maintaining accuracy and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient support and care coordination via inbound/outbound calls
- Process referrals, applications, and documentation in CRM systems
- Answer patient questions related to insurance, billing, and care services
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation while on calls
- Conduct follow-ups and status updates with patients and providers
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and referral sources
- Manage patient cases from intake through approval or denial
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2–4 years of customer service, call center, or patient support experience
- Strong communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
- Ability to multitask, type, and document while speaking with patients
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet ( 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload minimum )
