Contract Details:
- Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:
The Patient Access Representative supports Behavioral Health Services by handling patient registration, claims processing, and scheduling activities. This role requires strong Epic experience, excellent multitasking abilities, and comfort working in a remote call-center–style environment while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Registration & Scheduling:
- Perform registration and scheduling for BILH Behavioral Health Services.
- Schedule ambulatory referrals to the COCM program.
- Support call center operations related to patient access and scheduling.
Claims & Administrative Support:
- Process healthcare claims accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize Epic and BILH systems for registration, scheduling, and documentation.
System Usage & Multitasking:
- Work efficiently across multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Maintain accuracy while managing high call volumes and competing priorities.
Compliance & Eligibility:
- Ensure compliance with BILH requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data security at all times.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Epic experience (required)
- Claims processing experience
- Scheduling experience (healthcare setting preferred)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Experience working in a call center or high-volume patient access environment
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months (permanent, contract, or per diem) to be considered
- BILH coversheet required at time of submission
Training Information:
- Training will be provided on Epic and BILH Behavioral Health registration, scheduling, and call-center workflows
