Patent Prosecution Paralegal
On-site 5 days per week.
Yearly Salary: Between $120K-$150K (based on relevant work experience).
Starts: April 6th, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, obtain, and file documents related to all phases of patent prosecution.
- Prepare, format, proofread, and file U.S. and PCT patent applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office (and foreign trademark offices) and manage new electronic filings.
- Conduct clearance searches.
- Maintain and manage a prosecution docket.
- Report patent filings status and other documentation updates to clients.
- Draft and proofread correspondence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
- 4+ years as a patent paralegal
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must work cooperatively and professionally with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Must be able to balance and prioritize workflow
