Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources Manager in daily HR functions at a fast-paced manufacturing plant operating under ISO quality standards. This role requires strong organization, confidentiality, and the ability to assist with employee relations, hiring processes, training documentation, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the HR Manager with daily HR operations and administrative support
  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation according to ISO standards
  • Track attendance, employee records, corrective actions, and reporting needs
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure training documentation is accurate and complete
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and ISO requirements
  • Prepare HR reports, audit documentation, and required plant records
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
ISO & Compliance Support
  • Assist with HR document control and recordkeeping aligned with ISO requirements
  • Support internal/external audits by providing complete and accurate HR documentation
  • Ensure HR processes follow standardized plant procedures and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support (manufacturing preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO systems or regulated environments is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work professionally with both hourly and salaried employees
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and plant-floor exposure
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing facility setting
  • PPE compliance required when entering production areas
