We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Litigation Paralegal to join our litigation group. This role is ideal for a professional who has previous experience supporting fast paced litigation, especially insurance defense. This role is part-time, making it perfect for those seeking a balance between their professional and personal lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
- Draft discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, document production requests, and admissions.
- Review and analyze documents for production.
- Assist in the preparation of deposition summaries, pre-trial reports, and trial materials.
- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and other documents.
- Coordinate and manage deadlines, calendars, and meetings.
- Liaise between attorneys, clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems.
- Proven experience in drafting discovery requests and responses.
- Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
