Birkwood Village is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Evening Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by preparing quality meals with care, consistency, and attention to detail.

Position Details

• Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Shift: Evening shift (11 am - 7:30 p)
• Status: Part-time
• Environment: Supportive team, resident-focused, mission-driven community

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, dietary needs, and food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure timely, high-quality meal service
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with residents and coworkers

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Commitment to providing excellent service to our residents
