Under limited supervision, performs work of routine difficulty related
to maintenance; performs related work as assigned.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is located in Tuba City, Arizona, and is a
30-hour per week position.
Typical Duties
(Illustrative Only)
Performs manual labor
Cleans and maintains County facilities and parks
Identifies and reports needed repairs
Performs grounds maintenance, including weeding, mowing, landscaping,
graffiti removal, painting, and trash removal
May perform minor repairs
May assist with special events
Essential functions include but not limited to: standing, walking
and bending; twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling heavy
loads up to 60 lbs.; working with and around others; interruptions;
repetitive motion (elbow/shoulder); vision acuity (near/far); hearing
and speech for ordinary conversation; finger dexterity/touch.
Environmental factors include: the majority of work is outside; noise
exposure; use of mechanical devices; exposure to odors and dust.
