Job Details
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Paraprofessional to support students and classroom teachers in Troutman, NC (28166). This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and making a difference in a structured educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group student support
- Assist classroom teacher with instructional activities
- Support students with behavioral and emotional regulation
- Help implement IEP and classroom plans
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
- Maintain a safe, structured learning environment
- Assist with classroom organization and daily routines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Prior experience working with children strongly preferred
- Experience in special education or behavioral support is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate personality
