We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Paralegal to join our legal team. Our ideal candidate is a self starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for law. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our firm, supporting attorneys in a variety of legal tasks, while also managing discovery.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation cases from onset through post-trial.
2. Conduct research to support legal proceedings and to formulate a defense or to initiate legal action.
3. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
4. Respond to discovery requests, manage case files, and ensure all relevant information is compiled and organized.
5. Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to inquiries.
6. Maintain case management system and ensure information is current and accurate.
7. Coordinate with witnesses and experts, schedule depositions, and manage trial logistics.
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other professionals.

Qualifications:

1. Prior and/or current litigation experience
2. Proven experience drafting pleadings and responding to discovery requests.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Familiarity with legal terminology and principles.
8. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines.
