Level 2 — Paralegal II
Experience/Education Requirements: 5 years of experience as a paralegal administrator in a general counsel or law firm setting. Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies required, Paralegal certificate preferred.
Salary Range: $69,888.00 – $111,831.00
Typical Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and manages administrative programs and systems supporting the Office of General Counsel (OGC).
- OGC System Administrator for legal matter management and contract management systems.
- Manages contracts submitted to the OGC contracting system and trains Hospital personnel who use contract management systems.
- Oversees certain categories of contracts and programs, including Personal/Outside Consulting/Advisory Board Agreements, Conflict of Interest Review Process, and Housing Loan Program.
- Reviews and negotiates certain contracts; drafts and reviews simple amendments; and revises and manages template agreements.
Level 3 – Corporate Paralegal
Experience/Education Requirements: 10 years of experience as a corporate paralegal and contracts administrator in an in-house general counsel or law firm setting required. Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies and Paralegal certificate required.
Salary Range: $83,242.00 – $133,193.00
Typical Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and manage contract templates, agreements, amendments, and related administrative documents.
- Support the development and maintenance of OGC administrative programs, systems, policies, procedures, and records management.
- Serve as system administrator for matter and contract management systems, including intake, user support, and leadership reporting.
- Manage contract intake workflow and train Hospital staff on contract management processes and systems.
- Oversee designated contract programs, including consulting/advisory and clinical agreements, and coordinate Housing Loan Program documentation under attorney direction.
- Assist with corporate governance activities.
