Job Title: Paraeducator
Location: Hastings, NE
Pay Rate: $15.00 $16.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Shift: 8: 00 AM 4: 00 PM (hours may vary)
Type: 9-Month | Temp-to-Hire
Job Description
We re looking for compassionate Paraeducators to support students in elementary and secondary schools! Join a team that helps students grow academically, socially and emotionally while assisting teachers in creating a positive learning environment.
Open Positions:
SPED Paraeducator
Library Paraeducator
Assist students with learning activities and skill development
Support students with physical, mental or learning disabilities as needed
Work individually or in groups helping with instructional materials and paperwork
Supervise students during assemblies, recess, drills and field trips
Help arrange learning centers and display student work
Support Special Education teachers in meeting educational and behavioral goals
Maintain composure in unique and stressful situations
High School diploma or GED required
Basic knowledge of childhood growth and development
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
Comfort working hands-on with students who need extra support
Professional, neat appearance and reliable
Computer proficiency and ability to work in-person with students
Training: Project Para training provided (unless 48+ hours of college coursework completed)
