1st Shift - 7am-3pm
2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm

Utilizing a variety of prep work and paint application techniques, including spraying solvents, primers, topcoats, and clear coats, touchup brushing, and rolling, you will display your skill as a Paint Technician. Your skilled application techniques will ensure even and consistent paint coats, a low margin of paint defects, and the overall appearance of your work

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: You will be responsible for cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces, ensuring they are prepped and ready for painting

Paint Mixing: you must demonstrate and apply exceptional knowledge of mixing paint and color-matching

Paint Application: You will ensure that the product meets client specifications by utilizing solvents, primers, topcoats, clear coats, touchup brushing, and rolling.

Paint Defect Repair: you will be responsible for repairing paint defects, restoring parts to an acceptable finish

Safety Compliance: must adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment

Continuous Learning: Employees must stay updated with industry trends and techniques and actively seek learning opportunities for skill development.

Collaboration: paint tech must work closely with other team members to ensure that goals and deadlines are being met.

Qualifications

Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is essential in achieving high-quality paint finishes. Paint Tech will meticulously inspect work, ensuring that there are no paint defects, such as runs, sags, light coverage, contamination, or other common paint defects

Equipment Proficiency: Must use paint mixing systems, paint gun cleaning tools, and other paint-related tools. Your familiarity with these tools and equipment will enable you to carry out your tasks effectively and efficiently, ensuring precise paint application and a quality finish
