Position Summary
The Painter II is an intermediate level opportunity on our Facility Operations team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting facilities across our health system.
Responsibilities
You will prepare, prime, sand, seal, patch and paint furniture, surfaces, buildings, and fixtures
You will utilize all types of painting materials including varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing and heat resistant finishes
You will operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment
You will communicate effectively with your team
You will engage with a service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and attention to detail
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Experienced in interior wall surfaces and mechanical/pipe/metal surfaces
Minimum four (4) years painting experience
Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $26.03 - $35.02 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
