You will drive efficiency and innovation in our packaging processes by managing and executing a variety of projects, including new product launches, line extensions, and packaging improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Suppliers, Food Safety & Quality, and R&D) to launch new products and packaging solutions that drive business results.

The Central Pack team, part of Integrated Project Solutions (IPS) within Integrated Operations, partners with all North American Operating Units (OUs) to accelerate and execute packaging projects. We leverage deep expertise in GMI packaging systems and processes to unlock capacity and drive impactful results across all business units and brands. You will work on a variety of project types, including Brand Strengthening (line extensions, in & outs, package size variety, cost savings, and Canadian lift and shift projects from charter through launch), in close partnership with the XDS (eXternal Development Solutions) team.

Why Join Us?

  • Develop, maintain, review, and validate accurate and detailed packaging specifications to ensure manufacturing feasibility and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage project data and documentation using GMI systems (RDSS, Optiva, TOPS, ConnectedITQer, and Eclips). Training provided.
  • Build and leverage internal and external networks to support and execute work.
  • Demonstrate agility and flexibility in managing projects, adapting to changing priorities and timelines, and proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks.
  • Influence and drive results across multiple functions without formal authority

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Degree with 5+ years of directly related experience OR 2-Year Degree with 3+ years of related experience (packaging development, product launches).

  • Packaging experience across different product platforms.
  • Proven ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a team.
  • Working knowledge of packaging specifications and systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a commitment to quality and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and approach new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of related experience (packaging material coordination for product launches).
  • Experience on multiple businesses or platforms.
