About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a non-profit in DC that is focused on providing food to those in need.
- Due to a vacancy, they are hiring a FP&A to work remote. Laptop is provided.
- Schedule: 20/hrs. a week - some weeks it could be closer to 30/hrs
- Duration: ongoing
- Pay: $40-45/hr.
Overview of the FP&A role:
- Assist with managing Excel spreadsheets for the forecasting process, budget process, and reporting needs.
- Help uploading data into the FP&A system PowerPlan.
- Create project codes in the FP&A system.
- Support with setting up a new FP&A system (still being identified).
- Assist with setting up automated reporting in PowerBI/Blackbaud.
- Consolidate employee labor allocations by project ID to ADP upload format.
- Forecasting and budgeting.
Preferred Qualifications for the FP&A:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- 5+ years of FP&A experience
- Experience with PowerPlan, PowerBI, Blackbaud is a plus
- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Index Match)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
