Job Title:  Travel Counselor - Sabre

Location:  Fully Remote

Contract: 6+ Months

As a Travel Consultant, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team, providing outstanding service to our corporate business clients. Most of our Traveler Care leadership started in this role, and you can find us in almost every other department at Client.

What You’ll Do

Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)

Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services

Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations

Global Distribution Systems Sabre

Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements

Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests

Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels

Requirements:

Need 10 Travel agents

Mon-Fri 8a-8p EST; need candidates with open availability.

3 years experience in Native Sabre GDS with corporate domestic and Intl travel

No weekends

6 month contract

Training Hours: 3 week training program; 9am EST - 530pm EST (combined classroom and virtual training)

Start Date: 3/9

100% remote

Landline required, no wifi

Needs a dedicated, quiet workspace

Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry (background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation)
