This is a unique opportunity to join Pierce Creek on the ground floor of a fast-growing local food business and brand. We raise beef without hormones or antibiotics, and partner with local ranchers and farmers to source poultry, pork and lamb.

If you're organized, creative, and excited to grow with us, there's tremendous potential here. We are looking for assistance growing and managing:

  • a full service farm to table breakfast, lunch and dinner kitchen in Creve Coeur
  • coordinating prepared foods for catering, and market,
  • coordinating with the retail market by utilizing products and cross selling
  • coordinating with the butcher shop to utilize products throughout the different business units.

The right candidate will have understanding of restaurant operations, including cooking, pricing, margins, product mix, and be able to implement the technology we use to manage sales and inventory and integrate with the food service area in the restaurant prepared foods areas.

As the business grows we source new products, most of these products, if not shelf stable, need to be usable in the food service areas of the restaurant and market to minimize waste.

Team members need to be able to work confidently with both cooked and uncooked meats and foods for our shop, restaurant, and wholesale clients always with a modern touch and a focus on customer service.

This position requires learning multiple stations. You will work alongside owners and other key team members and must be willing to take a food orders, check someone out at the market register, or bus a table as needed, while working on the main functions. We are a start up and need a can do attitude with a smile.

Pierce Creek is home to a restaurant, bar, butcher shop, bakery, and market all centered on fresh, local, healthy food made from scratch. The vibe is elevated comfort food built on ethically sourced ingredients and genuine hospitality. We started selling our own beef, then created The MOObile, a successful food truck selling smashburgers and tallow fries, and recently opened the store in Creve Coeur. We are growing rapidly in all directions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and product needs
  • Create and implement sales and inventory tracking systems integrated into Spot On with bar codes
  • Take orders, and check customers out
  • Engage with customers and provide excellent service
  • Ensure strict food safety and sanitation standards
