Overhaul & Repair (O/R) Quality Engineer

Join a dynamic aerospace manufacturing team seeking a seasoned professional to champion quality assurance efforts in the overhaul and repair operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring rigorous product quality and adherence to regulatory standards while fostering collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, execute detailed internal audits, and serve as the primary interface for quality concerns with clients and suppliers. In this position, you will maintain critical regulatory documents, oversee quality aspects of procurement processes, lead corrective and preventive action plans, and conduct supplier assessments to uphold high-quality standards. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, you'll spearhead initiatives to enhance processes and quality outcomes.

**Qualifications:**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), inspection techniques, and manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Demonstrated experience with AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills are paramount.

**Preferred Experience:**
- Acumen with FAA/EASA regulations and Airworthiness Directives.
- Hands-on experience in aerospace or overhaul & repair sectors.
- Proficiency in supplier quality management and inspection processes.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to perform everyday tasks while alternating between sitting, standing, and walking.
- Capable of occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs).
- Adaptability to work in varied environments, including office and workshop settings.
