Overview
The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care is seeking an integrated outpatient clinician to work with our clients for co-occurring (Mental Health & Substance Use) services in Granite City, IL.
This position will be Mon-Fri, and will work flexible day time shifts.
Responsibilities
Conducted comprehensive mental health assessments and developed tailored, individualized treatment plans for a diverse client base.
Provided evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
Monitored treatment plan milestones to ensure timely service delivery and clinical progress.
Maintained meticulous clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes) in strict accordance with OMH, JCAHO, and Chestnut Health Systems standards.
Acted as a primary point of contact for client collaterals, including probation officers, psychiatrists, and family members, to ensure holistic care.
Served as a peer leader and clinical mentor, providing guidance and informal supervision to junior staff and interns.
Managed intern recruitment and university relations; facilitated specialized trainings for staff and community partners.
Upheld rigorous standards regarding client confidentiality (HIPAA), professional boundaries, and organizational security.
Perform initial diagnostic assessments and create individualized treatment protocols.
Deliver high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families.
Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Collaborate with external stakeholders (courts, probation, healthcare providers) to coordinate care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience.
- Or Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field and obtain Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification or be licensed as an LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, or LMFT within 2 years of hire.
- Must be willing to be trained in the Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA).
- Must obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
- Basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, Outlook, Teams, email and an electronic medical record (EMR).
- Must be willing and able to offer telehealth services, as dictated by funding sources, client needs/desires and supervisory assignment.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $44,400 - $50,575 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
