What Will You Tackle Day to Day?
- Delight customers by ensuring every order is accurately identified, quality checked, and dispatched on time.
- Make performance visible: measure and report on warehousing activities and team outcomes.
- Lead people the right way—manage, mentor, and develop your team toward safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Own workforce administration: manage timecards and time-off requests promptly.
- Drive growth: conduct evaluations, training, development plans, and promotions.
- Build the bench: interview and select great talent.
- Hold standards: apply coaching and, when necessary, discipline; recognize wins quickly and publicly.
- Keep everyone aligned: communicate and administer company and department policies and procedures.
- Remove friction: use data-driven problem-solving to identify, troubleshoot, and eliminate barriers.
- Never stop improving: support and sustain Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay hands-on: operate power-industrial equipment safely and ensure team licensing.
Are You a Match?
- Experienced Warehouse Supervisor with highly effective supervisory techniques.
- Comfortable in warehouse software; SAP preferred; strong with MS Office.
- Confident analyzing data to guide action.
- Exceptional communicator and collaborator across upstream and downstream functions.
- Sound judgment under pressure; organized, detail-oriented, and urgency-aware.
- Motivates diverse teams and leads change with clarity.
- Coaches and mentors direct reports; embraces constructive feedback.
- Understands structured problem-solving and can spot CI opportunities.
- Acts quickly to address obstacles and protect flow.
- Handles confidential matters with discretion; partners well cross-functionally.
- Holds teams accountable to daily tasks and strategic goals; manages time effectively.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years in distribution environments (production, distribution, or logistics).
- 5+ years of leadership/supervision required.
- Lean systems experience across multiple processes.
- Proven history ensuring equipment maintenance and on-time preventive maintenance.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
