MUST:
Experienced Materials Scientist
2+ Years of Experience in highly regulated industry
Familiarity with standard methods for testing mechanical properties (including fatigue, fracture, creep, stress rupture) of metallic and soft materials
Familiarity with corrosion control and mitigation techniques
Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication skills
Familiarity with high-temperature, high pressure/cryogenic Oxygen and Hydrogen applications
Knowledge regarding analysis, testing, and mitigation for Hydrogen Embrittlement
Familiarity with JIRA and CREO
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or similar discipline
DUTIES:
Review production drawings for large, complex assemblies documenting the status of compliance to established requirements
Participate in cross functional team collaboration in improving internal and external Materials & Processes efforts, including material evaluation, inspection, test, and documentation
Participate in the creation of test plans and procedures for process, component and system level analysis and qualification
Communicate project status for reports to Belcan and Client organization stakeholders
