Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join the growing team at Orthopedic Specialists of New Jersey, a premier practice affiliated with the Hackensack Meridian Health network. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume practice and become a member of our expanding network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care.
Qualifications:- M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Replacement)
- Must have or be able to obtain an active NJ Medical License, CDS, and DEA
- Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with hip and knee conditions.
- Perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, including robotic-assisted surgery.
- Cover a balanced schedule of approximately 2-3 clinic days and 2-3 OR days per week, depending on volume.
- See patients at a selection of our office locations, which include Paramus, Montvale, North Bergen and Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
- Perform surgeries at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) and the Hackensack Musculoskeletal Surgical Center,Participate in a call schedule of approximately 2-4 nights per month.
- Engage in the teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.
- Join a collaborative and well-established group of 13 orthopedic surgeons and a network of experienced specialists and support staff.
- Step into a busy, high-volume hip and knee replacement practice with a strong referral base.
- Receive dedicated support from a Physician Assistant (PA) and a clinical assistant.
- Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and active participation in the Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
- Access to the latest technology, including all major hip and knee replacement techniques and robotic surgery platforms.

Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
