Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
• 12 years of deep Oracle experience.
• Expertise in Exadata internals, AWR/ASH, and SQL tuning at scale.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL frameworks.
• Experience with very large databases (10s–100s of TB).
• Ability to translate Oracle semantics into neutral architectural concepts.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with semantic extraction and migration processes.
• Familiarity with Oracle feature dependency matrices.
• Advisory experience on semantic traps and Oracle behavior dependencies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze Oracle schemas and interpret critical components like triggers and sequences.
• Document implicit behaviors and analyze transaction semantics.
• Identify Oracle-specific constructs and build feature dependency matrices.
• Define golden data sets and validate test harness outputs.
• Advise on migration risks and Oracle behavior dependencies.
