Position: Administrative Assistant - Vision
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94089
Pay Rate: $27 - 30/hr
Job Type: 04/08/26 - 08/18/26
Working Shift: 8 am to 5 pm | Monday - Friday | No weekends
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve and process VSP authorizations and eligibility verification
Manage vision billing workflows using Eyefinity Encompass
Ensure accurate documentation of authorizations, coverage, and patient information
Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance carriers regarding benefits and claims
Support scheduling, front desk coordination, and administrative clinic functions as needed
Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and clinic policies
Assist with tracking claims, resolving denials, and following up on outstanding items
Requirements
Prior administrative experience in an optometry or vision clinic setting is required
Hands-on experience with the Eyefinity Encompass system required
Experience retrieving VSP authorizations and managing vision insurance processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable communicating with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
Proficiency with standard office systems and electronic documentation
