US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON -
SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: 1st Shift Details:
Start and end times will vary for this position. Shifts begin as early
as 7:30am and end as late as 5:30pm. Worked shift will be 8 hours a day,
Monday through Friday. Travel to one of our satellite clinics, Westbrook
Health Center, will be required for this position. Job Summary: The
ophthalmic photographer assists the ophthalmologists in the performance
of eye examinations by using a variety of photographic equipment. The
photographer duties include anterior and posterior segment clinical
ophthalmic imaging, research participation, preparing patients for
imaging, and troubleshooting equipment problems. Testing includes but is
not limited to OCT, fundus photography, fluorescein and ICG angiography,
slit lamp biomicroscopy, and ultrasonography. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: * Knowledge of cameras and photographic techniques and
processes is required. * Knowledge of medical and ophthalmologic
terminology is required. * A minimum of 2 years of general medical
photography or 1 year experience in ophthalmic photography is preferred.
EDUCATION: * High School diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSURE:
* American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the
Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required
within 90 days of hire into this role. * Current CRA or OCT-C or
working towards certification is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced proficiency
in Word and Excel. Experience with reporting and analytics preferred.
Demonstrates an understanding of DEA regulations and controlled
