Position Summary:

We are now hiring a Ophthalmic Photographer I. Candidate must be able to travel to satellite offices, be a team player, be able to capture clear concise images, and upload images into EMR, 

Responsibilities:

This position requires customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a degree of independent decision-making.

 

Photography skills include:

  • Knowledge on ocular anatomy and diseases for diagnostic testing and treatment.
  • Be familiar with Topcon, Heidelberg, Clarus, Zeiss Visucam Cirrus, Optos, Ultrasound equipment.
  • Perform required ophthalmic imaging, including OCT, OCT-A, AF, B-scan, CFP, ICG and FA
  • Certify for clinical trial photography studies
  • Perform phlebotomy, Slit lamp photography, and diffuse external photography for research clinical trials
  • Complete CITI certification and work within the framework of an IRB for clinical trials and studies
  • Complete images and other duties as assigned by supervisior
Qualifications:
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to satellite offices.
  • 2-3 years experience COA Preferred Training in clinical ophthalmic photography
  • Training and experience in phlebotomy, specifically venipuncture
  • Hands on experience in clinical research ophthalmic photography, including certification as a photographer for clinical trials, is preferred.
  • Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills
  • Careful attention to detail in all research procedures
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent judgment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate research procedures with co-workers is essential
