Operations System Analyst
Job Location: Petaluma, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $27-$28/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7am-3:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Systems Analyst to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by analyzing system requirements, improving processes, and ensuring efficient system operations. This role requires strong problem solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and optimization
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Assist with system design, configuration, testing, and implementation
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve system-related issues promptly
- Collaborate with developers, IT, staff, and end-users to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Maintain system documentation, including workflows, technical specifications, and user manuals
- Conduct training sessions or provide guidance to end users on system use
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance activities
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements as needed

Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of system development lifecycle and software development processes
- Experience with database management, ERP systems, and business applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based systems, SaaS applications, or enterprise-level software solutions
- Familiarity with programming or scripting language (e.g., SQL, Python, Java)
- Knowledge of network, security, and IT infrastructure concepts
- Experience with workflow automation and business intelligence tools
