• Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 (top of range for standout performers)

Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Superintendent to lead B Crew night shift operations at an automotive-focused warehousing and sequencing facility in Sellersburg, Indiana.

This role oversees warehouse and shop floor operations supporting an automotive OEM customer, ensuring parts are received, inventoried, and staged efficiently to meet production demands. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a data-driven mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, off-shift environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of night shift shop floor and warehouse operations to meet production and customer requirements
• Manage and develop shift supervisors while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality, and productivity
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, operational priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Track, analyze, and report on KPIs and operational performance metrics
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, control plans, and company policies
• Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety regulations
• Support customer and internal presentations related to production and operational performance
• Promote and model company vision, culture, and operating philosophy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, supply chain, management, or related field OR equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an automotive, JIT, sequencing, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage supervisors in an operational setting
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer-based reporting tools
• Automotive experience (Ford or Tier 1 supplier) is a plus
• Military / Army leadership background is welcomed but not required
• Ability to work in a plant and office environment with regular standing and walking
• Valid driver’s license required
