Description: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Operations Manager
The Operations Manager oversees and coordinates all night-shift activities across Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse departments. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation standards while maintaining efficient workflow and strong team performance. The Operations Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all night operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions, meeting production plans, and monitoring overall manufacturing performance.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Supervise night operations for Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams.
Ensure production targets, schedules, and daily plans are met.
Oversee sanitation activities to maintain compliance with food safety and company standards, ensuring all lines are properly cleaned and set up.
Monitor warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
Enforce safety rules, GMPs, and company HR policies at all times.
Ensure all safety and health standards are met to maintain an accident‑free environment.
Verify completion and accuracy of production, sanitation, and warehouse logs and reports.
Team Management
Conduct shift start‑up meetings to communicate priorities and expectations.
Ensure proper staffing levels and assign tasks to team members.
Train, coach, and develop employees; implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Problem Solving & Communication
Perform basic troubleshooting of operational issues and escalate when needed.
Ensure smooth shift handoff by communicating progress, issues, and pending tasks to the next shift manager.
Maintain strong communication with cross‑functional teams to support operational goals.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proven project management abilities.
Demonstrated experience training employees in safety and production practices.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, reporting systems, email, tablets).
Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed based on business demands.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Training & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in manufacturing.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in production, sanitation, or warehouse environments.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Prolonged periods of walking or standing on the production floor.
Exposure to loud machinery and equipment.
Periods of desk work and computer use.
