About the Role
Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee human resources and day-to-day operations at their Broomfield facility. This role partners closely with the Director of Operations to assess HR systems, scale processes, manage employee lifecycle activities, and maintain operational excellence. The position requires expertise in HR policies, benefits administration, payroll, onboarding/offboarding, and performance management, combined with facility oversight, vendor coordination, and event support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess current HR systems, identify gaps, and implement improvements to support organizational growth
  • Build, maintain, and own an internal HR wiki with up-to-date policies, procedures, and team resources
  • Draft, update, and enforce company HR policies and ensure compliance with employment regulations
  • Manage full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Partner with operations and leadership to administer performance review processes and provide HR guidance
  • Oversee daily operations of the Broomfield facility, including building management, vendor coordination, visitor support, and on-site event execution
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, empathy, and discretion when handling sensitive employee issues
  • Maintain organized records, operational procedures, and documentation with attention to detail

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HR or People Operations experience in both large and small company environments
  • Proven ability to build, improve, and scale HR systems and processes
  • Experience handling sensitive issues with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational skills and operational discipline, with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with facilities or office operations is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Desired Skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems and process automation
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, payroll processing, and performance management
  • Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to partner effectively across teams and leadership
