Operational Accounting Assistant

Location: Concord, CA (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

(Training hours for first 2 weeks: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM)

Assignment Length: 4 months (with potential extension)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and transaction research activities in a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for early-career accounting or data-focused candidates who thrive in multitasking environments and are comfortable navigating multiple screens and applications.

• Research and validate financial transactions across multiple internal systems
• Accurately input and update basic accounting and financial information
• Utilize several applications and dual/multi-screen setups to review and reconcile data
• Perform posting of accounts and offsets
• Support operational accounting functions as needed

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting support, data entry, or financial operations
• Excellent typing skills and strong 10-key proficiency
• Ability to work and toggle efficiently across multiple screens and applications
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and research skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Previous banking experience is strongly preferred

• Experience as an Accounting Assistant, Data Analyst, Junior Data Analyst, or Financial Data Analyst
• Familiarity with transactional research workflows

• 100% onsite role in a professional office environment
• Standard business hours Monday–Friday

Candidates must be committed to the full 4‑month assignment. Extensions may be available based on performance and operational needs.

This is a Contract position based out of Concord, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
