Our client, a leader in commercial real estate management, is seeking a dedicated Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the maintenance and operation of critical building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to safety and service excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: 419 West Redwood St., Baltimore, Maryland
Pay Rate: $30-34/hr
What's the Job?
- Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform routine tasks such as painting, pressure washing, lighting maintenance, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Maintain work order system (CMMS) and complete tenant service requests promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in emergency response situations and troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
What's Needed?
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
- Trade school education, union training, military service, or college background is desirable.
- Universal CFC EPA certification or a strong interest in obtaining it within the first year.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
