Kforce's client is seeking a remote OpenPages Configuration Engineer to support an active OpenPages implementation currently in the solution decision and build phase across multiple modules. This role focuses on executing configuration work based on approved solution decisions, leveraging out-of-the-box OpenPages functionality and avoiding unnecessary customization. The ideal candidate has hands-on OpenPages configuration experience, is comfortable working within defined designs, and can deliver quality configuration outcomes while collaborating closely with senior engineers and solution leads. Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute OpenPages configuration tasks based on approved solution decision documents and design guidance
  • Follow an out-of-the-box first approach; avoid custom development unless explicitly directed
  • Support configuration migration and promotion across environments
  • Assist with configuration documentation, build artifacts, and traceability
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, solution architects, and business analysts to clarify requirements
  • Support testing efforts and assist with resolution of configuration-related defects
The Engineer will support configuration activities across modules in the following sequence:
  • Operational Risk Management (ORM) - immediate focus
  • Risk & Control Management (RCM) - next phase
  • Model Risk Governance (MRG) or Business Continuity Management (BCM) - subsequent phase
Configure OpenPages components including:
  • Object models and relationships
  • Fields, views, questionnaires, and calculations
  • Workflows and workflow behaviors
  • Roles, groups, and security/access controls

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring IBM OpenPages in a delivery or implementation role
  • Working knowledge of OpenPages configuration concepts (workflows, objects, fields, security, questionnaires, calculations)
  • Experience supporting at least one GRC-related module, preferably Operational Risk Management, with exposure to RCM, MRG, or BCM
  • Ability to follow solution designs and execute configuration with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OpenPages training or certification
  • Experience supporting configuration deployments or environment migrations
  • Familiarity with common OpenPages tools and administrative utilities
  • Experience working on multi-module OpenPages implementations
