This position supports daily operations in a fast-paced shipping and receiving department within a hospital setting. The role includes document services, mail management, and package delivery, with extensive walking, standing, and loading dock work.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, mail, and packages using an electronic receiving system
• Deliver packages and completed jobs to end users throughout the facility
• Operate high-volume copiers, document imaging equipment, and related software
• Perform binding, finishing, QC, and final checks
• Open, save, send, and transfer files using MS Office and email
• Maintain copier areas, perform daily inspections, clear paper jams, and report issues
• Track meters, service logs, inventories, and basic billing records
• Ship and receive materials; apply postage and maintain shipping records
• Respond to customer service requests and answer job status questions
• Perform filing, archiving, and document purging as requested
• Support meeting room setup, light maintenance, re-lamping, and occasional cleaning
• Use bindery and finishing equipment including cutters, staplers, joggers, and shrink-wrap machines
• Lift, move, push, or pull materials and equipment as required
• Work overtime, nights, weekends, or off-hour emergency response as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 2 years of related or similar experience preferred
• Some copy, print, or document services experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Basic to average computer skills, including MS Office and email
• Good organizational, mathematical, and filing skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 55 lbs and push equipment on wheels
• Comfortable working on a loading dock and in a hospital environment
