Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated On-Site Engineer to serve as the primary representative on construction projects. In this role, you will facilitate timely information exchange among the owner, contractor, and project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet project goals. Your expertise and proactive approach will be vital in identifying and removing roadblocks, managing design changes, and supporting all team members throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:
  • Act as the primary on-site representative, ensuring smooth information flow between the construction team and the design team.
  • Review and observe the progress of work, providing timely updates to the owner regarding quality and schedule adherence.
  • Facilitate the expedient resolution of design issues, RFIs, and submittals throughout the construction phase.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders and enforce clear communication paths to support project deliverables.
  • Conduct weekly site observation reports, outlining progress, observed deficiencies, delays, and construction milestones.
  • Collaborate with contractors and consultants during the construction phase to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Support the construction team's administrative processes while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Secondary degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate) in engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years on large construction projects, or 5 years on hyperscale data centers.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
