Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney to join our legal team in the Dallas area with pay starting at 130K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy law with a focus on oil and gas industry regulations and contracts. As an Oil & Gas Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support to our clients in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:

• Review and draft legal documents related to oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution.
• Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters affecting the oil and gas industry.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and leases pertaining to oil and gas assets.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations with government agencies and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, changes in laws, and regulations impacting the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing to practice law.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing energy law with a focus on oil and gas.
• Excellent knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the oil and gas industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
